Telemedicine

Shore Cardiology is offering Virtual Appointments via our Telemedicine Platform.

Our telemedicine platforms allow us to carry on seeing our patients via video appointments. We continue to hold our visits as we would in an office visit. Our Medical assistants intake all your medical information such as social history, family history, and medication. Once the Medical Assistant is complete one of our doctors joins the meeting to go over your health and answer any questions you may have. Televisits allow both our patients and physicians to practice social distancing.

If you are visiting our office:

  • Practice safe social distancing of 6ft (2m) between you and other visitors.
  • Wash your hands or sanitize upon entering the practice and any time after you touch a surface or your face and again when you leave the office.
  • If you cough or sneeze, do so into the crease of your elbow or into a tissue and immediately wash your hands. Depending on the severity of your coughing or sneezing you may be asked to leave the office and be seen at an alternative time or via telemedicine.
  • If you are experiencing any symptoms please do not come in. This is to safeguard our patients, staff and community.

Safeguards we have in place:

We adhere to all government and state policies in place to reduce and eliminate the spread of COVID-19. Though we had exceptional cleanliness and practiced many of these techniques before Covid-19 we would like to assure you that we are:

  • Washing hands before and after patient contact
  • Using appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
  • Wiping down all equipment and surfaces used in exam rooms between patients
  • Avoid touching eyes, nose and mouth
  • We perform routine daily cleaning in common areas

Shore Cardiology is dedicated to caring for you and your heart through prevention, detection, and treatment of cardiovascular disease.
